The family-run company, now in its fourth generation, creates products and solutions for a better life for people and animals. Our activities are divided into two processes. The first process revolves around product manufacturing: from the idea, through research and development, to production, storage and logistics, all supported by quality assurance, we create unique niche products for niche markets. Everything takes place at the production site in Nordwalde, Münsterland.

In the second process, the individual sales companies work together with their sales teams and international subsidiaries, trade agencies and distributors to ensure that the products find their way to customers in over 70 countries around the world.

The Eimermacher Group stands for innovative product development and maximum quality standards for all product areas. “Made in Germany” is a promise of quality for us.
We stand for the highest possible quality of our products with maximum standards: Raw materials, formulations and manufacturing processes are subject to pharmaceutical legislation and the production guidelines for human cosmetics. No product that does not meet the highest standards and whose effectiveness has been scientifically proven leaves our laboratory.

The GMP certificate, the highest official recognition in the pharmaceutical production sector, confirms that we fulfil our quality assurance and quality control requirements.

Our constant endeavours to make our production methods even more environmentally friendly, for example by reducing waste and lowering the consumption of energy and cleaning agents, have been recognised with the Ökoprofit certificate.

Our history

It all began on a modest scale in 1910, when company founder Ferdinand Eimermacher set up a small business in Münsterland, supplying oils and greases for a wide range of applications, from animal care to the automotive sector. The fact that Ferdinand Eimermacher was a man who aimed high was demonstrated not least by the fact that he became one of the pioneers of free ballooning. He is known to have made a balloon flight from Münster to Königsberg in 1913. A distance he covered in just six hours!

The entrepreneurial breakthrough came when a tropical doctor friend brought back highly effective natural balms from Peru. Ferdinand Eimermacher utilised their disinfecting and germ-killing effect for his milking ointment, which quickly became very popular and set a new standard in milk hygiene.

In the 1960s, the company was able to further extend the market lead it had gained as a result, as Eimermacher supported the possibilities of high-performance milking systems by developing a modernised udder care system. The research team met the increasingly complex demands of the dairy industry and milking hygiene: Liquid teat disinfectants and cleaning agents expanded the range of previously solid products based on creams and ointments.
